Ed Mankin - CEO

Coach Ed Mankin is a 1996 graduate of Lake Brantley High School (Altamonte Springs, FL) where he was a standout starting Middle Linebacker. While attending Seminole State College, he went on to play for the Arena League’s Orlando Predators before a devastating shoulder injury sidelined him for good. Upon moving to South Florida, he founded and served as president of the West Boynton Football League in 2004 to 2009. From 2009 through 2012, Coach Mankin served as an assistant coach with the Palm Beach Mariners (a semi-pro, adult football team) where he was in charge of the Linebackers and special teams. He also served 6 seasons as a member of the Palm Beach Central High School varsity football coaching staff, where he served as the Offensive Coordinator for the Broncos. Ed also served as the Offensive Coordinator for a professional American Football team in Austria during the 2014 season. Once he realized his favorite part of coaching was getting his athletes to the next level, Coach Mankin decided to make it his mission to help as many athletes he could by joining a recruiting firm as an Executive Vice President and now is the co-founder Athlete YOUniversity, LLC. The Cape May, NJ native is married with one child (daughter, Madison), and resides with his family in Charlotte, North Carolina.
